1. During civil unrest, adopt an attitude that does not attach any importance to you, bother you with complicated matters or tries to take advantage of you. 

2. The greedy is dishonored; Those who reveal their difficulties are always humiliated; Those who have no control over their tongue often face discomfort. 

3. Greed is shame; Cowardice is a mistake; Poverty often prevents an intelligent man from taking his case; a poor man is a stranger in his own town; Misfortune and helplessness are disasters; Patience is a kind of courage; Breaking the connection with the evil world is the greatest wealth; Piety is the best weapon of defense. 

4. Submission to the will of Allah is the best companion; Wisdom is the noblest inheritance; theoretical and practical knowledge are the best differentiators; deep thinking will present the clearest picture of any problem.

When asked to comment on this tradition, Imam Ali said that there were very few Muslims in early Islam. The Holy Prophet advised them to look young and energetic and not to adopt the fashion of the Jews (priests) with long white beards, but Muslims were not a minority then, their state was strong and powerful, they could adopt any style they wanted. 

17.For those who refused to take sides with any Imam Ali or his enemies, Imam Ali said: They have given up religion and they are not fit for infidelity either.
